He was born on September 20, 1988.
He began wrestling from an early age under the tutelage of his father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, who is currently a senior coach for the combat sambo national team in the Republic of Dagestan.
Khabib Nurmagomedov trained in wrestling at age 12, and judo from age 15 in Machachkala.
He made his professional MMA debut in September 2008.
And he got four wins in under a month.
He signed a six-fight deal to compete in the UFC’s lightweight division in 2011.
His UFC debut was on January 20, 2012, where he defeated Kamal Shalorus via submission in the third round.
Recently on October 6 in Las Vegas, Nurmagomedov defeated McGregor in the fourth round via submission in a largely dominant performance.
After his victory over Conor McGregor , he jumped the cage and charged toward Conor’s cornerman Dillon Danis, who provoked him with trash talk from outside the cage.
After his win Russian president Vladimir Putin meet him and he shared a video with the following tweet

He also wrote on Instagram that he will walk away from the promotion if Zubaira Tukhugov is suspended for his role in the post-fight brawl that broke out at UFC 229.
